Virtual Faculty Research Talk - Dr. Brian N. Kim (2022)

Brian Kim, Ph.D., presents "High-Density Neurochemical Probes for Brain Mapping." He discuses his research objective to develop a super-resolution neurochemical imaging technique to analyze brain chemistry with nanoscopic spatial resolution and microsecond temporal resolution. He also covers his NSF project to develop multimodal neural probe technology that can map neural spike activity and neurochemical release or uptake. Zoom-cast Oct. 28, 2022.

Virtual Faculty Research Talk - Dr. Brian N. Kim (2020)

Brian Kim, Ph.D., presents “High-Density Neurochemical Sensors,” and discusses his research in developing these sensors to measure neurotransmitter secretion directly. He will also highlight a National Institutes of Health project to provide low-cost portable medical diagnostic devices. He invites collaborators. Zoom-cast Sept. 18, 2020.

Integrated syringe - medical diagnostics project - Dr. Brian N. Kim (2019)

We received an NIH R21 grant to support our medical diagnostic project!!! This is from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID)! This 2-year project is led by Dr. Brian Kim as the PI.

Award title: Multiplexed rRT-PCR detection of Zika, dengue, and chikungunya directly from whole blood using an innovative integrated syringe
